The Kick Start Book series for Programmers and technology professionals
The Kick Start Book series Introduces new topics to working developers who no longer need the degree of hand-holding offered in a beginning level tutorial. The books are written by authors who are experts at clearly describing the fundamental concepts of a technology and who are also experienced practitioners who can draw on their years of experience to show the reader how to apply the technology in their everyday work. Books in this series are practical, with examples that are based on real-world uses of the technology. They're concise, with background information and digression kept to a minimum. And they're very thoughtfully organized, based on the most likely path a developer will take in applying the technology.
